According to Dream Team, Barangay San Roque is the 1st Barangay they held their Meeting de Avance. This even was held at barangay plaza on March 27, 2016 (Sunday) around 6:00 pm.
According to Congresswoman Josephine Ramirez Sato, Marsan Bridge is the "Bridge of Love". The much awaited blessing and ribbon cutting of Marsan Bridge finally happens on March 31, 2015 at 4:00 PM.
Due to lots of activities and events for the last 4 months the Council hasn't Finally, Budget for 2015 was set for finalization. Meeting was held on February 23, 2015 at Sikatuna Beach Hotel and Restaurant.
Mr. Mark Gil L. Aban, representative of KALAHI-CIDSS formally informed the council being the planning body of the barangay that the project selected by the committee was the concreting of access road at Purok 4, San Roque. Based from the resolution of the committee that will oversee the implementation of this disaster related project and San Roque is a recipient of Php 1,051,968.11.
Mark Gil L. Aban also assured that, the remaining amount of the access road will be spent for the draiange system.
Meeting was held on February 17, 2015, 3:00 PM at Barangay Hall of San Roque, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.
In the Regular Session held on February 12, 2015 at Barangay Hall of San Roque, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro there are guests from the DILG in the person of Mr. Dennis Beltran, acting officer in charge vice Memviluz Baurile (maternity leave of absence) and Engr. Rvyl Federico who personally compiled the reports on the state of governance of San Roque.
Engr. Rvyl Federico informed the council that the performance index of San Roque is 4, which is high enough, although we lag behind on economic development wherein we got a 3 mark. He pointed out further that on the four performance areas the following is our rating:
1. Administration - 4
2. Social services - 4
3. Economic development - 3
4. Environmental management- 4
He advised to give more emphasis on economic development. His evaluation report on the state of governance was shown by a projector which could be viewed easily.
At this instance merienda was served to the guests and the council and their closing report, Mr. Dennis Beltran took over and congratulated the Sangguniang Officials for their effort in helping, the barangay to get a high rating, however he also made emphasis to put more effort in economic development to raise it to 3.5 or 4 mark.
With the enormous effort of Kagawad Janice and support of the Barangay Council, Barangay San Roque won 3rd Place in the Tourism Contest.
